Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Adobe XD

The brief asked: how do you design a space that feels like it’s listening? I reimagined the Detroit VA Hospital’s identity with empathy at the center, leading a branding and UX/UI overhaul rooted in care. The strategy focused on creating a human, approachable brand system—one that prioritized personal touches, intuitive navigation, and visual cues that quietly said, “we see you.” Using Figma and Adobe XD, I mapped user flows and simplified the journey for veterans and their families, ensuring essential information was easy to find and engaging to interact with. The result was a cohesive identity that welcomed veterans like honored guests. From signage to screen, every touchpoint reinforced trust and respect. The rebrand led to smoother digital experiences, stronger emotional connections, and a renewed sense of belonging for the community the hospital serves.
